status

does status mean anything?

to some of us, it means the whole world to them. to others...maybe not. in many parts of the world, status is a big thing, it refers to recognition, power, and class. the higher and/or important your status is, the greater power and recognition you would hold.

truth is, does it mean anything? in my opinion, i think is merely a scam. higher social status people have certain rights compare to other normal humans. they could hide awful deeds they have done, because they have the authority to ask their subordinates to cover their ass. why is it so? who created it?

it's our very own people. people who have serious conscious of their doing, and doesn't have guts to admit it.

opps..dropping to the political side just a wee bit too much. ain't it?

flipping over the other side of the coin. status, as mentioned is recognition. people want to do be recognize and appreciate for their effort they have put in. at the end of the day, a pat on the back, and a simple thank you makes a whole lot of difference in a person's mood.

disclaimer: the above, it's just purely my opinion. pls don't put me in jail. after all, it's a 'free' country
